Re: October HCG Diet Support Thread!

im in this for the long haul so i dont follow the protocol exactly. i figure if its low carb, low fat, and staying at the 500 cals then im good. ive never had trouble losing by not follow the original protocol or mixing veggies

yesterday i ate

sugar free jello

whey protein shake (gnc chocolate caramel) with 1 cup unsweetened almond milk and ice

bowl of cabbage soup (cabbage, onion, garlic, carrot, celery, tomato sauce, water, boullion) with 1 spoon of fat free sour cream

strawberry chocolate sorbet (1 cup almond milk, handful frozen strawberries, splend and cocoa powder blended)

cottage cheese with splenda and cinnamon (used as a dip with an apple)

big salad with cucumber and green onion (used the calorie free honey dijon mustard mixed with spicy brown mustard)

YUMMY!! I kind of do the same thing! LOL Being vegetarian, there aren't a lot of protein options, and I HATE tofu I've been doing protein shakes with PB2, sugar snap peas, tangelos, apples, etc. I track on MFP to make sure that I'm under my calories for the day, and so far it's working...when I don't have a meltdown. This week has been ROUGH. Back to it tomorrow. I have a ways to go :/

I have to remove all tempting foods. If I have my faves in the house I will eat them. Remember you can do this.

Should we start a new thread? I'm starting tomorrow. I realized while mixing today that my round two dosage was wayyyyy off! No wonder I struggled. I'm going for 40 days, 10 day p3, 40 days finish cycle. I'm subbing some vegan protein shakes in after the first week or so as a test. Ill keep it posted.
