November Use Your Stash Game Chatter Thread

This sounds fun! I would love to join and motivate myself to actually finish projects I've planned and never started. Subbing so I can follow the developments.

I would host but have NO IDEA what to do!! If a previous hoster can convince me it's fun and easy, I might be convinced to dive in and help out, but really, it might be better if someone who has successfully played through a month (I am a chronic drop out) can help! ;-)

I'm willing to host too. I've played several times, although I've missed the latest rounds. I don't think it looks too hard.

Since we're discussing this early, I have a couple questions/suggestions.

1. Since I'm sure many of us will use this as Christmas prep, how do you feel about a free pass on a yard or two of fabric, or a skein of yarn?
2. For the point for the UFO... do you get a point if you finish it, or do you get to add stash points to what materials you use this month too?

hbee- I think you hosting sounds great since you've played before! I also like the Idea of a free yard or skein as it will be highly likey we'll be holiday sewing and need special things for the occasion!

Another Idea I saw was getting points for drafting your own pattern (max of 3 times, 10pts each time) and 10pts if you make/post a tutorial to an Item you made (also a max of 3 times) thoughts?

For UFOs you only get one point. Points for materials only count if the project is started within the actual game. Anything even pre cut before game begins is considered a UFO and is only worth 1 pt
