FFS question- what does very interested mean?

Have seen this a lot lately. I am confused. Post says FFS, with shipping quote or from zip and weight. Then all the replies are "interested" or "very interested.". I take it like I am then supposed to try and make a sale somehow in my FFS item.

Any insight here?

Re: FFS question- what does very interested mean?

I take it as a more polite way of saying "I want it".

I agree! Sometimes shipping is close to or same as retail (depends on item). I think people probably post "interested" to get in line but shipping may not be worth it?

The shipping quotes are in the OP or there is a zip code w weight to figure it themselves.

It wasn't just mine. There were others. Most of which the ops, myself included, donated local. I did so bc I was scratching my head and didn't want to invest anymore time in giving away items. I also didnt really know how to politely ask this question in the FSOT thread so I just pulled it.

I really appreciate when I get what I need from another mama on there and wanted (do want in future) to do the same.

So say someone is interested...
What is my next step? It's not a question. No specific inquiry about item(s). It seems so one foot in one foot out. I feel like I must be reading it wrong and there is some DS or Internet meaning I have missed somehow.

I think people are posting expecting you to respond with a shipping quote.

They probably don't know if the item is still available? They are saying they are interested meaning they want it if you still have it. Some people respond by pm's so they could think the item they are interested in, is already "pending"?
