Re: S/o How often do you change

me_just_me I love your quote! "Only the strong survive!"
(Some days I feel like this is talking about me...other days I think my kids are winning! )
It's Aiden isn't it. That is exactly what I'm talking about! Our little ones can be so overwhelming some days, leaving us feeling like we are losing the race. Okay so I'm totally off topic.

Luckily I only had one of the 6 that was like this, cause I sure like sposies for vacations.

I have a friend who only changes diapers on her daughter when they are full. Based on what I've seen, full = major sagging diaper. She also has been battling bad diaper rashes, bur doesn't see a correlation.
For me personally, I change anytime I feel they are wet at all unless we are out and about where its hard to get to a changing table. So I go through a lot of disposables when I use them.

I like cloth because it forces me to change my lo's diapers every 2 - 2 1/2 hours during the day, more frequent if I notice he's wet in between or if he's pooped. If I change him less frequently, he leaks and then I'm dealing w/ wet clothing, bedding, etc. It's too easy to forget to change him in a sposie because he doesn't complain when he is wet in a sposie.

This is me! Except when I've had one that required me to check frequently.

Every 2-4 hours or as I see a need. I'll check her about every 2 hours (though I won't be waking her up, or pulling over the car to check right at the 2 hour mark). Sometimes she is totally dry at that point and will stay dry up to 4 hours, or sometimes even overnight.

Other times she poops 15 minutes later, or is wearing a prefold and I notice it's wet an hour later. I won't leave her in a wet diaper if I notice it is wet. But I don't go checking every 15 minutes to see if she's peed yet.
