I had that with my daughter. They told me it was quite common in overdue babies. It did mean that the NICU would have to be there and if she wasn't reponsive and crying when born they'd have to take her right away to care for her (in the room still though) and I wouldn't be able to get her on my chest and delay cord clamping. But she was very alert (apgar of 9) and so they just left.

I feel like they don't get super crazy about that anymore as it is pretty common. Just watch for signs of infection but most the time everyone is a-ok! My first dd had this and everything was fine

Yay! The meconium is only an issue if the baby inhales it, so avoid pit if possible. Baby only breaths it in during labor if she becomes too stressed or there is cord compression.
