Anyone washing diapers (or other laundry) in Dr. Bronner's?
Hi all,
We have been battling diaper rash for a few months now, as well as eczema, and are starting to think our lil' guy might have an allergy to detergents in general. So we are looking into some natural soap options. I have heard that Dr. Bronner's (Baby-Mild) can be used for laundry but am a little nervous to try it. Anyone use this product? I have hear that Cal Ben soap products are also good - anyone try these? With all of his skin issues, i'm about to throw in the towel so this is my last shot! Any help or advice would be great- thanks! |

I'm washing sheets in Dr. Bronner's right now because I'm out of laundry detergent. You can wash laundry and anything else with castile soap. My son is really sensitive but he uses Dr. Bronner's in his bath as soap and shampoo and I use it to clean the bathrooms and kitchen, as hand soap, and as all-purpose cleaner. I use it in the laundry if I run out but I prefer actual laundry detergent for that.

I would think it would leave a lot of build up over time. Have you tried vaska unscented detergent? I really love it, and it's all natural.

I used to use Dr Bronners Sal Suds. It is a surfactant not a soap and it got our dipes super clean. It does have spruce oil (leaves a wonderful sent).
