Bitten!
My almost one year old just bit a hole in my nipple! Aghh! So... What do I do? I can't nurse her on that side right now because it hurts too bad. How long will it take to heal enough to nurse again? Anything I can do to speed healing? And if I take a break from that side for a little while, won't that affect supply?
Help me! :/ |

Re: Bitten!
I'm sorry, mama. My DD took out a good chunk not too long ago. Surprisingly, after a few hours, it actually felt better when she was nursing.

I would do moist wound healing. It ain't heal fast if it dries out then gets wet again (nursing). Can you try a cotton ball soaked in saline solution or coconut oil left in your bra on the wound?
