She super sweet and her prices are in line with other HC ones and LESS than other stores online.

She did the one ion the collab that's in my avi, and she is doing a boy anatomically correct one for DD too.

Tiffers DS Jackson has one Max who is AC and SOOO adorable when I saw him I HAD to get one.
Are you getting the jointed one or the traditional?

I'm getting the jointed.

The boy one we have coming is 16" the girl one in my avi is 18".

But I think I might get her a smaller one like 10-12" later as a more practical drag around dolly later.

Rebecca of Where's Waldorf makes awesome dollies! And I know Morwenna of Mosaic Moon has done matching Waldorf longies/soakers to her soakers

I can. Little man doesn't allow me tons of knitting time but something that small wouldn't take long at all. Anyone is free to PM me.

Yep! Joyce is really nice. She even is making Max a brace to "sleep in" like Jackson has. He was born with bilateral clubfoot, so he'll have to sleep in a brace until he's 3-4, so I thought having a doll that did as well might help Jackson as he gets older. Max is 18 inches and I'd recommend a smaller one. He's really big. I love him, but he's honestly too big for Jacksonr right now. A 12" doll would be good for most kids, 16" for older (3+) kids, I'd think.

We don't vaccinate, we kept our sons intact, we use cloth diapers, we co-sleep, we extended RF, we breastfeed, but we watch too much tv and I totally dig plastic! Everyone has their issues, lol.

Awww that sounds like a great idea. Joyce is so great!

I can't wait to see our guy.

I'm trying to figure out what to call him.

I would recommend 12" too I saw pics of kids with different sizes after and the 16" looked big next to a 4 year old.

But I did want big when I ordered him.

I just think we'll get a 12" because the size seems more practical for everyday.

i've been debating getting Max a jointed 10-11" one for his bday, but then i KNOW that Charlie will want one even though he's not into dolls or stuffed things (i've tried...just no interest )

Maybe a 10-11" for Max and a little 8" for Charlie...hmmmm, how long do these take to make? Charlie's bday is at the end of June and i'd want to get them both at the same time.

Joyce said her customs are normally 4 weeks, but she can't promise.
