Stains and misgivings

I recently bought some diaps which the seller said had light stains. I actually consider them to be pretty heavily stained and dingy. They looked fine in the pictures.

I don't want to return them, or get a refund - I was just a bit surprised. Would it be very rude to e-mail her and say, thanks for the diapers and all, but FYI, they weren't in the condition I thought they'd be?

If you're ok with what you got for the price, I don't think it would be wrong to simply let the seller know that the pictures didn't accurately describe the condition. Let her know you're just letting her know so she can more accurately describe in the future

I think that would be totally appropriate. Also if you did want to request a partial refund I think that would be reasonable too. I have done that myself before.

I totally agree! Giving her a heads up might help her from future issues with potential buyers who may not be as accepting of the not quite accurate description.

Yes, communicating to her will help teach her how to label the items for sale accurately. Helps her future sales plus ensures that she would get good ratings vs. negative.

Re: Stains and misgivings

I bought some trainers from someone once and based in the price and newness of the seller I did not expect miracles. Once I got them I went ahead and sent a note to say I was happy and I knew what to expect but what to tweak in her ad so that someone else wasn't disappointed next time. She totally appreciated it and thanked me.
