I made soakers with heavy bamboo from naturs fabrics. only need 2 layers, where bamboo fleece may require 3 or more layers. so i think this would be economical. heavy fleece is very soft, i love that. the fabric i received was 68 inches wide, so I could make 12 two layer contoured soakers of size 16" X 5"

if you use heavy, you need a LOT less layers for only a few dollars more, so you get more out of your fabric!

I just ordered THIS, and it's SOOOOO lovely! I cannot imagine needing more then a couple of layers for day use. I am going to make a trifold for nightime and Im betting it will be AWESOME!

There are several different weights, ranging from 9 oz/yd to 26? oz/yd. You'll want to be sure you know what you're getting. Obviously, the 20+ oz/yd stuff is going to be litterally twice as thick and absorbent as the 9 oz/yd. Usually "regular" is 16 oz and "heavy" is 22 oz. A typical diaper insert would be 6 layers of "regular".
