DD is 16 months old, Friday she started with looser than normal stools with lots of undigested food and a little mucous. 3-4 episodes Friday, Saturday seemed improved but Sunday back to loose stools but not diarrhea. Yesterday again improved but today loose and more mucous. No other symptoms. Eating normal. No new foods. Any thoughts? Food sensitivity.

When my DS was 15 months old he self-weaned from nursing over the course of a week, so he was suddenly getting a lot of cow milk and he developed those same symptoms. We cut out milk entirely and it got much better.

I would think that if nothing has changed as far as diet, then maybe it's some minor stomach bug. Do you have any probiotics you can give her?
