Re: Calling all Grovia testers

I received a size 3, it fits perfectly in the shell with the rise unsnapped all the way (though this would be too big on my son) so I snappi it under the shell, under wool longies, or stuff it in my size L DryBees pocket at night (which is huge on DS but the mediums are too short in the rise as he tummy sleeps), I've also stuck it in my Bummis covers (mediums) and find that it is trimmer, more absorbent and softer than my 100% organic cotton prefolds from Abbys Lane. DS is about 23-24 pounds and 32 inches tall, he wears the shell on the medium rise setting, so if I wanted to trifold at this rise, I would order the size 2.

I also tested the wool soaker, I love it, it is so soft and stretchy, and trim. I can tell from the final product that there were changes from the version I tested, but it seems to be the same awesome fabric. I won't post pics of mine, they would be misleading due to obvious pattern changes, but I can say the quality of the wool used is superb. It is very thin, but I still use it overnight for DS over a very absorbent fitted without problems, but he is not a super soaker at night anymore. I think wool and fleece are often about what's underneath.

I wish I had tried the fitteds!! I have some of the bamboo Kiwi Pie fitteds that I love.

Re: Calling all Grovia testers

I was not a tester, but was sent a wool soaker as a gift for my Avery after she came home from the NICU. It is so soft, and stretchy, and a wonderful fit. I like it a lot!

Mine was a gift from Kim as well, I don't think there was as big of a tester round on the wool as there was on the prefolds. Avery amazes me

Awe, thanks she amazes me, too. I didn't even know there was wool testers, but it was really nice of her to send. She also sent an adorable shell, which we use all the time. She is such a sweetheart .

Re: Calling all Grovia testers

Here are shots of my 7 month old in her tester:
padfolded in a Grovia shell medium rise:

The thickness folded:

In a flip on medium rise:

On my 14.5 lb 7 month old:

I have found that mine is still soft and fluffy and she wears it overnight 12-13 hours with no booster. We usually wear a Flip organic but this is thinner and seems to wash better for me!
