Question Woven wrap

What is a good inexpensive baby wrap? I'm looking for under $100.

Re: Woven wrap

New, long wraps at/under $100: Lenny Lamb, Wraphsody/Gypsymama Bali Breeze (gauze), Dolcino.

It depends on the length you want. A short wrap will be cheaper than a long wrap. You can also check out used (thebabywearer.com).

Re: Woven wrap

Wrapsody Bali Breeze is a great gauze wrap under $100. You can also check on Facebook. I know of at least one Baby Wearing Swap that has a good variety of gently used wrwaps for sale. If you're handy with a sewing machine, you can also hem a long piece of fabric for about $50. I bought a linen/cotton blend fabric from Joann's with a 50% off coupon for $45. It's about a size 6/7 and just put a hem around 3 sides (left the selvedge alone). It's worked great for me and is very supportive. A lot of ppl also get plain osnaburg fabric from Hobby Lobby/JoAnn's/fabric.com/etc. and dye it and use that for a wrap as well. So there are some cheaper options if you are a little crafty. There is a DIY Wrap group on FB as well to get ideas and ask questions if you need some help. BabyWearer.com also has a DIY forum as well as a swap section.

Re: Woven wrap

You should be able to find something on FSOT at thebabywearer.com. I prefer buying there over the FB swap. I would look for something in colors you like in either a size 5 or 6 depending on what size you are. If you are petite, I would lean towards a size 5, if you are average and up, and size 6.

Re: Woven wrap

I would try the swaps. Otherwise brand new I can think of BBslen, LennyLamb, Girasol (sometimes, try TheBlueberryTree), Wrapsody. Hmm that's all I can think of. The price of wovens have gone up in the past year or two.

A size 6 should be good for you then.
