i've asked this before myself and i've seen a few people's efforts at dying proraps and generally it seems that it's hard to dye polyester no matter what you use. it just doesn't take very well. sorry....several ppl have suggested using fabric paint to paint on a design/embellishment of some sort. or i suppose you could see about having it embroidered (but then you'd have to figure out sealing it)....maybe there's a wahm out there that could do it.

I dyed Proraps once w/RIT dye and had ok results. The blue turned out light blue, the orange very very light orange and the purple almost lavendar. I sold them shortly after so I couldn't tell you how long the colors lasted.
