Diaper organization and diaper stackers- do they work with cloth?
I am tired of my old way of organizing my diapers- I have them half in a drawer and the other half stacked two piles deep on a shelf. I can never find what I want without making a mess of it all!
I have looked at tons of organizational ideas on here, but didn't see much about diaper stackers- the ones meant for disposables. Something I could hang would be great for the space I have, but I'm wondering if a diaper stacker would hold cloth diapers well. Has anyone tried it? Any advice? Thanks! |

I have 3 diaper stickers hanging.... One with pockets and aio, one with flats, covers, and prefolds, and the last with extra doublers and wipes.... Works great for us.

Anyone else love/hate using a diaper stacker? Thanks!

Mine isn't really wide enough to hold two stacks of our lg diapers. I do use it for flats though, folded insert-style. We don't use them very often but dd loves pulling them out.
I am planning to switch to a 3 drawer plastic nightstand type thing for diapers since we are always on the floor and it makes NO SENSE for the diapers to be on the shelf in the closet anymore! Also I have downsized my stash so I should be able to fit what I need in there. |

Re: Diaper organization and diaper stackers- do they work with cloth?
I haven't actually used it yet, but this will be my first time CDing a newborn, so instead of using my diaper stacker for disposables, I put it next to my nursing chair and put the burp cloths in it, which are essentially prefolds! It seems like it will work great! FWIW, for my diapers I bought the 3-drawer plastic storage containers and put inserts/prefolds in one, covers in the next, and extra items/night diapers in the 3rd. I have my wipes, diaper creams, snappis, etc. in a tote caddy on top

Re: Diaper organization and diaper stackers- do they work with cloth?
I would love to do bins, but there is no room in the tiny room that already has a twin bed, a crib, and dresser/changer combo thingie, and as it is the crib is in front of half the closet!
I would use just the top dresser drawer, but I have two kids sharing the dresser so space is limited. (I also use under the bed boxes for out of season clothes and pajamas!)

I have heard of people getting the CD organizers from IKEA. I have prefolds/flats in the closet next to the changing table and covers/pockets on the bathroom counter. Changing table is between the closet and the counter. Works great for us

You could use a wet/dry bag and keep the clean ones in the dry pouch. Or maybe hanging shelves or a shoe organizer?

my diaper staker can hold 16 (probably a few more) onesized diapers (2 stacks of 8 each) dont really have a place for it though..
