We do! DH makes it with Old Bay :-). I usually just do it in the microwave in a brown paper bag (lunch sized, we always seem to have a zillion from the grocery store). Sooooo easy, cheaper and healthier than commercial microwaved popcorn!
Big pot + smidge of veg oil + 1/3 c kernels. Heat and pop!

Re: Does anyone else pop popcorn on the stove?

Every movie night which is tonight! It's my daughter's favorite way to cook it. I don't even think she knows you can get it microwaved.

I do about a Tbsp of butter, a bit of salt and 1/4-1/3 cup kernels. Use a bigger pan that you think you need. Toss everything in, cover and heat around medium high. Once the first kernel pops, keep swirling the pot around on the burner until popping gets close to stopping. Remove from the heat and wait a few seconds. There's always a couple waiting to pop.

I got my husband a whirly pop for Christmas, and he uses it at least once a week. We pop it in coconut oil, season it with flavacol salt, and melt some real butter on it - it's better than the theater!

I do. We don't even own a microwave

We do! We pop in coconut oil then sprinkling a little salt and nutritional yeast on it.

That's the best way to make popcorn. My dad does it as a treat for my boys. When I was growing up we'd eat a paper grocery bag full at a time.
