BH anyone?
Anyone having any Braxton Hicks contractions yet?
I had 2 yesterday - the first one kinda caught me off guard, trying to figure out what was happening ![]() I've always had BH with my pregnancies, quite bad/frequent/uncomfortable ones, and they've started early with all. So it doesn't worry or bother me. It is interesting to me, though, that I never had a single one when I was pregnant with Elli. Just... interesting. And slightly comforting that I am having them now, with this Babe.

Re: BH anyone?
I had one last week. I didn't have them with my first daughter, so I was totally surprised.

Re: BH anyone?
Not yet, but I expect them anytime..I usually start getting them around 20 weeks, and for some reason, riding in the car triggers them.

Mine aren't triggered, there's no rhyme or reason to them that I've ever found, lol. Just come at times, usually only a couple at a time, and then go away. I do remember having a good "set" of them at 20-someodd weeks with DD - they were painful and timeable, it was really odd, but they never got closer together or more painful, and after a couple hours they went away. Actually, thinking back, I do have a trigger - I definitely get more when I'm dehydrated.

Re: BH anyone?
We used to have a 1hr drive to church, and all the way there, I would have them very regularly. With our youngest, they were 5 min apart, but not painful, just a tight feeling, then gone...dh was freaking out, lol..but it happened every Sunday all the way there, and all the way back..dehydration does it to me too, and I wonder if that could be a connection to the car ride. I certainly don't drink as much a regular b/c I don't want to stop to pee every 5 min.

Lots of BH here. Mine always start early but never painful. I think they're cool because my tummy feels firm instead of squishy. Lol

Re: BH anyone?
I am, but I hadn't really noticed it/known what it was and then yesterday at my NT scan, the tech said I was having a huge BH contraction. We could see it on the u/s screen, it was crazy looking! It took about 20 minutes for my tummy to calm down and un-squish so she could get good measurements. Plus side, my u/s was at least 30 minutes long.
Now that I know what to "feel" for, I am definitely having them. I can't remember if I had them with my boys, but I'm guessing I didn't notice since I can't recall.

Yep. For a week or so. Not painful, just tight.
