CBE course in Texas!
Love Babywearing? Here's a chance to take your passion, experience and combine it with accredited training. The San Antonio Natural Parenting Babywearing Group is proud to present a training opportunity for Texas (and surrounding area) mamas to obtain the Babywearing Institute Certified Babywearing Educator certification.
As a CBE, you will be able to share your babywearing knowledge as a contracted representative of the Babywearing Institute within 50 miles of your primary location. This includes private consultations to families and teaching to small groups of individuals, healthcare workers and businesses.
These courses are not just a Babywearing 101 Class. They can be an investment into a career and/or business in babywearing education by obtaining accredited certification through the Babywearing Institute. You will be able to start your own consulting business or add this to your existing portfolio as a doula, midwife or baby consultant.
Normally someone from Texas wanting to take the courses would need to pay the course fees, registration fees as well as travel expenses to attend the course out of state. SANP Babywearing is proud to sponsor and facilitate bringing the trainer here to San Antonio, provide a location AND sponsor the registration fees ($50 per person) for the first 10 SANP participants.
There are two courses, Beginner (2 days) and Advanced (2 days). In order to gain the CBE certification, you need to take both courses and then also take-home exams but the option is available if people want to take only the Beginner course and do the Advanced course at a later date.
The only cost to you will be $300 for each course ($600 for both Beginner and Advanced).
The courses are scheduled for Thursday November 29- Sunday December 2. There are limited spots available and over half have already been filled through word of mouth. We would like to confirm the final attendee list by Friday November 9.
