Re: Wanna help us with names? :)

We didn't have names until 35 weeks pregnant this time and I was going nuts! The others were all named much earlier on.

I don't really have an opinion on your names list but I did want to add that just because you don't like Holly doesn't mean you have to scratch Holland. I have Nikolas, Kate, Charlene and Zakary. They go by Nikolas, Kate, Charlene and Zakary. I think you get my point.

I personally HATE the name "Katie" so the few times anyone has ever called her that I just say, "Her name is Kate." We never had much trouble keeping people calling them by their given names (even if we have nicknames for them at home). Go with what you love.

DH like more traditional names but I don't care for them.
I like less common names and old fashion names. I don't want any of the kids to have 5 other kids in their class with the same name.
We are still considering place names. All the girls will either have place names or we will decide to do no more place names.

OH MAN do I hear this I would suggest Rainee and he would suggest Ruth. I would like Quincee and he would say Abigail. Oh dear! In the end all of our children (except Emma which is becoming less popular) have old fashioned less common names. Luckily so far Emma has never had another Emma in the class. There have been different versions, right now we have an Emmaline and an Emmerson. Since it seems that we like similar names here were some from our list, I hope it helps!
Morgann
Freya
Sophia
Quincee
Aubrey “Bree”
Lydia
Chloe
I think I already gave you all my girly place names!

I actually think we might almost have a name picked out!
We are just making sure we can come up with other place names. Just incase we end up with a couple more girls.

Thanks for the suggestions
I really love old, old names. Like:
Alywin, Ainsley, Adelaide, Isolde, Gwendolyn.
So old you never hear them anymore.

Sure! We have a names ending in long e theme and I thought we were going to have to throw a wild card in at the end but we finally found something and went with a unique/traditional spelling. Fionnlagh(phonetic Finn-lee) Ian James

That is just adorable I was going to suggest Holland Paris but only because my niece is a Paris and I have grown to love it. It was a love-hate relationship when they first decided. But I think Holland Ivy is perfect!

Love it! I love all those Finn names. If this baby was a boy the name would have most likely been Finnegan.
