Re: S/O: When is it okay to leave your child at home alone?

I was babysitting my brother and sister at 10. I was pretty responsible and I don't ever remember any incidents. I used to sometimes get scared. But then, I'd sometimes get scared even as a teen. There was this one house I babysat in that was so creepy I'd be terrified to go upstairs to check on the kids. And they were out in the country and no curtains on the windows. And then this other house the basement door started rattling and there were no windows open or wind to make it rattle and it seemed to get louder and louder and just when I thought it was going to fly open, they got home, phew. Ha, I even get scared now as an adult.

My Mood:
I think I would be ok leaving odd alone for up to an hour maybe at 10 (she just turned 7) but not sure. DS may be a different story unless he changes and calms down a lot over the years but he is only 3 so who knows
