I want to make a couple of new overnight diapers for DS2. 2 nights a week, DH puts him to bed and he likes something simple (snap or Velcro it on and go, you know). He's been using BG AIOs with an extra hemp insert added, but the PUL overnight tends to make him rashy and its at the verge of not holding enough. I prefer stay dry fabrics against his skin. I have a pattern I made that fits him really well, I'm just looking for input as far as building in absorbency.
He's 20mo, sleeps through the night (finally!), and pees a ton, but isn't a flooder, it's steady through the night rather than all at once. I'm thinking of a fleece outer with a microfleece or suedecloth inner. Maybe some kind of tongue style insert so it dries and cleans more easily. Anyway, fabric or construction suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks!
