I just found it on BN.com for $14 with the girl elf. The skirt is $6.25.

We got a cheap little elf that looks to be about a 1.00 item, our hair salon had lots as decor and they let me buy one for 3.00 - our kids named him Oliver.
But after xmas they DID go on sale but were sold out almost immediately! yikes.

PS this is the one we have, the last little guy on the right - get a bunch of friends together and split the cost for a bunch of them

I missed the Barnes & Nobles deal, but I just bought one (fair skin, blue eyed girl) from bookamillion for $20 shipped.

I bought two sets, really excited that I got them. I love our elf on a shelf and I'm going to gift them to friends. So glad they went down in price.

we've had it for a few years and DD is really into it. I wasn't sure at first, but I'm sold now. to my surprise, DS points it out even though he's a baby

I've seen them after Christmas on sale, but its really hit or miss. I've seen a few specialty toy shops over the past few who had a couple left. Try calling around on the 26th with your premade list of small toystores. I've never seen them go on sale in Nov and Dec.
