What birthday toys for 3 yr old??

Ok dd3 turns 3 next week and being dd with 2 slightly older sisters can stink at times like this what do I get her for her birthday?!??? She already has all the hand-me- downs, all the clothes and toys I can think of a 3 year old would like. We have bookshelves of books and paints, crayons etc. tons of dressup clothes. And I want something she can actually unwrap since we've been to several parties lately and she's totally looking forward to that part. But what???

Give me ideas mamas!! What's popular, fun, exciting toys right now??

We do "something you want, something you need, something to play with, something to read" (sometimes we add in something to wear). So, wrap up a book, some playdough, a new (or new to her) dress and maybe an umbrella or something else bizarre and fun.

for dd's 3rd birthday, we got her a curvyboard.

it's literally been played with daily for almost a year. we only get them one gift on their birthdays, and, typically, something we think they will use for many years.

I have a 5.5, 3.5, &2 yo dds. the thing that gets played with the most is their playsilks. Ive also gotten scarves from goodwill that they love. Endless play because they are using their imagination and I love that they take up hardly any space.

I love that curvy board! Kaia just turned 3 and loves the plasma cars so that is what she is getting for Christmas. She also loves the puppet theater the kids made out of a cardboard box.

For my daughter's 3rd bday I gave her a medical kit I put together, with real instruments like a junior sphegmometer and stethoscope, etc. and a black camera bag. It cost me $55 to do.

For her 4th we spent about $60 getting her beautiful wool knit food from Palumba.com.

Love the curvy board though it's a bit steep for us iirc.

Never heard of a curvy board- looks neat but a little out of our price range. Plus since we don't do Christmas, birthdays are the big formal gift event so we try to do 4-5 gifts and still stay in our budget.

Oh yes! We purchased the memory tiles when my 4 yo was 1 and they are still as beautiful as the day we got them. Ive been meaning to get the dominoes. Thanks for the reminder!
