Funded PayPal?

Okay, I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, but I'm having trouble finding the right place.

I've noticed some FSOT posts mention "funded PayPal only". What does this mean? Is it any different/more specific than just using PayPal to pay?

There used to be funded Paypal, which meant you had a balance in PP or it was attached to your bank account. It had no fees, whereas credit cards had fees. A few years ago, though, that all changed and everything has fees. There is no such thing as funded anymore.

Not anymore. People who say anything about funded PayPal are outta the loop!

Maybe it now means they don't want people saying they want something I have to get PayPal first ( sell something else or wait for payday)

I always read that to mean no echecks.

I wondered this too. I usually spend my pp as soon as I get it, but it's tied to bank account. I was confused

Maybe. No pending is usually clearer

I thought cc payments charge a fee but bank payments do not.

All payments are fee ridden now except gifts I believe.
