bathrobes for kids

My mom wants to buy my DD a bathrobe for the holidays. She has found one at target that she wants to get for her. It says it is 100% polyester.

It also says it is flame resistant. Does that mean that the polyester is naturally flame resistant? or is it sprayed with chemicals?

Is there anywhere that sells warm non-polyester bathrobes for toddlers (she's 2 1/2) that don't have flame retardants?

Re: bathrobes for kids

It's really going to depend on the material. Fleece bathrobes are almost always going to be polyester, which is not naturally flame retardant. A terry cloth bathrobe should be cotton, as would a flannel bathrobe.
