Re: anyone else have coloured milk?

Okay, I just clicked on this from the main forum because of the eye-grabbing headline. haha. We milk cows and we call the hind-milk "blue milk". The cream rises to the top once refrigerated and when I scoop out a lot of the cream and pour the rest of the milk into my jars, it is a definite bluish tint. Just not as much fat in that. I'm guessing it's the same with humans? When pregnant, my dh always compares me to cattle (because he raises them) so I just figured I'd pass along the curteousy. haha.

When I'm really full it's blueish grey.

Thanks - I appreciate the bovine wisdom.

While I'm currently stuck in the blue-green spectrum, I can't photograph the rainbow like catbutt can, but I will post a pic tomorrow.

This. My foremilk is decidedly blue, but when I keep pumping the hindmilk is yellowish in color.

Mine was always blue when I was really engorged. That and it could be the food dyes too. I have heard if you drink blue gatorade it will be very blue
