Small fuzzibuns for newborn

Hey! Has anyone used these for their NB? A friend of mine does and she loooooves them. She has 24. But she has a really chubby baby.

What do you guys think? I'll probably have an 8lb baby. But my last one had really skinny legs

Ours fit around 3-4 weeks, may have earlier if I tried them sooner though!

Re: Small fuzzibuns for newborn

I don't have the smalls since we went with XS's, I am considering buying some right now though. I ADORE FB's. I just tried to use OS on her yesterday and she is swimming in them. 1 month old and just under 9lbs. XS's are still fitting her great though!

Just born- 7lbs 14oz

5 days old

Almost 3 weeks old

Seriously can't get enough of my FB's!!

Re: Small fuzzibuns for newborn

My newbie is about 11 lbs and still in the xs. The smalls would not have fit him at all at 8 lbs. Could be because of his thighs being a little skinny still though.

Re: Small fuzzibuns for newborn

My son was 6 lbs and the XS didn't fit until about 4 weeks, and lasted a few months, on the flip side, my daughter could have potty trained out of the smalls... So shape and leanness of the baby makes a big difference with fit, especially with sized items

No way will the small fit an 8 lb'er. My last was 8-3. She grew VERY fast, but still didn't fit in the smalls until about 6-7 week.

DD is 5.5 weeks and the smalls are just starting to fit her well. She was 8lb7oz at birth but went down to 7lb14oz. I think she's around 10.5lbs now.We still occasionally have some leg gaping (she's got some skinny little legs and a fairly tiny waist). We find the leg gaping doesn't matter when we stuff with an xs pf, but with the microfiber insert she sometimes pees straight out. I prefer our other diapers over the fuzzibunz (but the fuzzibunz were free and I have a billion of them so I keep them in rotation). Our RaR OS pockets fit her at a week and a half, the legs had no gaping, and those internal gussets were great for keeping in crazy newborn ebf poop. I was surprised a OS diaper fit better than the small FBz.

Do you think flips covers would fit an 8 lb baby?
