Now that I think of it, my retailer said something along these lines.

Re: Why are retailers dropping Sloomb?

They aren't dropping Sloomb, it's the other way around.

Who is dropping sloomb? Tons of new places are adding them according to the info provided for the party they are having in November.

Re: Why are retailers dropping Sloomb?

I read it as ethical issues as well, but my first thought was their inconsistency in production. Off sizing and what-have-you. I loved their wool, but their inconsistency is why I sold it all and have never looked back.

Are you sure? I maybe misunderstood the announcements I read.

This. The one I saw this morning on Facebook said Sloomb dropped them due to difference in views.

I also read it as a "difference in views". Seemed more like an ethical issue....not sure though. And the retailers are choosing to not carry Sloomb, not that Sloomb is dropping them.

Re: Why are retailers dropping Sloomb?

My guess is because their pre-orders usually come in WAY after the estimated date. It makes the retailers look bad when really it's sloombs fault.

I agree. I bought wool way after the Sloomb craze but I went with Disana. Sloomb is ridiculously expensive for what it is IMO.

So says Sloomb maybe?

I don't have a dog in this fight at all (have never owned a Sloomb product but I do have a few Sbish bought used) and I'm not a retailer. It seems like they have issued some statements in the past when things get uncomfortable.
