Why are retailers dropping Sloomb?

This whole thing has me very curious, and pushes me one step closer to selling off all my sbish fitteds and switching to flats.

Sloomb has definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. KDTM is better without them.

I'm not a retailer but I have ordered directly and will never buy another sbish/sloomb product again. It took waaay longer than quoted for me to get my things, communication was nonexistent, there were substitutions made without asking. I was patient and waited the quoted time plus a couple weeks before emailing about the status of my order. There were fb postings about what i ordered coming back into stock yet i hadnt received mine. The only way I got communication was by threatening to call my credit card company.

I have been hearing horror stories from smaller retailers for a couple of years. They are not a company I will do business with.

Yes & the "regulars" brag, get free stuff, etc & us who get pushed around by them get nothing. As if we're the bad guys.

Totally. Their fan base is so clique-y. SO many people sing their praises. "Erin is so awesome - she's doing this all on her own, so be patient!" Uh, I don't see anything positive about running a large business and being severely understaffed, not getting customers their orders, subsituting without premission, and always being late on pre-orders..

Think I may stick with our Bumbys, Canadian made, excellent customer service all around. Im selling off our sbish now.
