I bought this Stamps.com 5lb mailing scale about a month ago, and was told it did not work with a Mac, Stamps.com says they do. I received the scale and it did not work with the Stamps.com website on which you are supposed to use with the scale and a mac. (PC users use the software.) I called their customer service and it is a very ''new'' thing to be able to use Mac computers with Stamps.com online and some of their scales aren't compatible. They sent me a new scale that ''was Mac compatible'' and it still did not work. I found a program that DOES work, it is NOT the scale that doesn't work with a Mac, it is their crummy software on the Stamps.com website (That you have to PAY for) that does not work. This scale works just fine with a Mac with the (FREE) program I found online, and I don't need two scales, so I am selling the one that I bought. I will include a bunch of $10 free postage that you mail off to Stamps.com and they credit your account. The fine print on them says you can only use one a month. I will give you links and info on the free program that does work with this scale (I'm sure there are better programs out there that you can pay for but I just needed something to tell me the weight of an item, not to print postage off of.)

I am asking $40 $35 to recoup my money and pay for shipping and pp fees. Retail value is $50. Please feel free to make me an offer!

I have one of these and I do NOT use stamps.com I use it with usps, PayPal and eBay.
