Tell me about Bamboo

I am an avid cotton lover. Especially flats. But my girls are starting to need more absorbancy at night, and I'm thinking it may be easier to go with a different material rather than stuffing more cotton in there. It bamboo easy to wash and keep really clean? Is it super duper absorbant? Long lasting? What do you like/dislike about it?

We have always used Osocozy Better Fit prefolds until the Imagine bamboo prefolds came out. I really like the bamboo. It's definitely softer than the cotton and seems to be more absorbent. (Although we don't use them at night, we use fitteds so I can't speak to it overnight).

I use ODC bamboo terry squares for nights, love them! They are just like cotton flats, but softer, squishier, and more absorbent

I use cloth dreams bamboo velour prefolds for night

I have imagine bamboo fitteds, and shockingly enough, I think they actually come cleaner than my cotton prefolds. The layers aren't all sewn together though, so that may make a difference, but they are still pretty thick. They are very absorbent as well.
