Ever since DD1 was in preschool at age 3 all parties was organized and planned by parents. She is in 3rd grade now. The room parent is the main organizer/planner and she asks for volunteers for snacks, drinks, someone or 2 to do a craft and 2 games.

We don't have a room parent, sounds like we need one. This will probably be my last party sign up though unless its for something specific. Dh was ok with the amount of money that was spent, but he won't be if it happens every time there is a party.

Im lead room mom for my girls rooms and i plan parties from start to finish. Im also school wide lead room mom and its up to me to make sure the individual classroom room moms are doing their jobs...ie parties, helping with the book fair and santa shop, etc...
Eta..they go to a private school
