microfleece stink question

I did notice that toddler poop stink was hard to get out of the microfleece pockets I had for my daughter. Never had a problem with the inserts, oddly, just the pockets. But she needed stay dry. Now I have a new baby, and I'm worried he may need stay dry as well, at least sometimes. I'm planning to have some prefitteds made with a fleece inner. Do you think I will still have the stink issue eventually? Or will it be easier to clean because it is backed by cotton, not PUL? Or should I just get the soakers with microfleece and not worry about the rest of the diaper being stay dry? Or does that even matter...having fleece in there at all will cause problems so might as well line the whole diaper, in for a penny in for a pound?

Re: microfleece stink question

I found that the microfleece inners have stayed smelling nice once I switched to Tide Free and Gentle powder. When I was washing with Country Save, they would start to smell poopy and I've have to run a bit of bleach in the load every week or so to keep them fresh.

Re: microfleece stink question

You know, good point, they did get better when I used Tide. I went with it, and won't worry anymore.
