Suggest a slow cooker, please!

I'm wanting a new slow cooker for Christmas. I've had many over the years and they all end up cracking after a year or so of heavy use

Ideally, I'd like something like this, but it has mixed reviews and I don't want to risk that much money if it doesn't work well. Anybody have personal experience with the Cuisinart Multi-Cooker?

Any other crock pots that y'all would recommend?

I got this one recently and I have been happy with it. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS.../chrisficti-20 It isn't perfect, you can't really do perpetual broths in it, but it is good for everyday use. It does turn off after about 12-18 hours though so you need to be aware of that if your doing LONG slow cooking. It does make a LOUD noise though when it turns off.
