Why does alex wake up at 5 every. Single. Morning? Is he trying to kill me? He nurses throughout the night, then wakes at 5. Somes days i get him back to sleep, others he stays up.

Finn is now doing a 6 AM wake up. He used to sleep til 8 AM. Now he wakes me at 6 AM and wants to play. I would LOVE if he would just nurse as then I could sleep but he wants to latch on and off, roll, pull my nipples, and play. I feel your pain.

But Finn is little, so i understand. Alex is almost 22 months! When will this kid sleep?

I think we have a leak. Water builds up by our toilet. I thoughtit was water escaping the shower at first, but we also found water in our living room along the wall. Apparently the pipe goes through the hall toward my living room. The plumber is coming today, i hope its an easy fix. I'm afraid of mold now cause thw walls

Oh sweety...I have 2 nonsleepers who are even medicated by a specialist who still do not sleep. My 4 yr old stopped sleeping more than 2 hours per 24 hours at 4 months old and did it for a year before they would help us. I though I would die. I had to snooze in my recliner preggo with Quinn to get any rest. He also would not sleep anywhere but on his Boppy in the chair. So I did not sleep in my bed for over a year. By 18 months we got him in his bed, but he woke up to 30 times per night.

I was lucky Quinn slept then and he was not a cosleeper. He liked to nurse next to me then be placed back in his bed. But at age 2 he stopped sleeping like his brother.

Now the older one takes FOREVER to fall asleep and still wakes at night at 4 yrs. The 3 yr old falls asleep fine with his meds but wakes all night long. They both are up around 6-7 AM, but only because they are up all night. Neither nurse any longer, but I understand wishing a child would sleep through the night and not get up at the butt crack of dawn to begin the day. I could do the dawn part if they slept and allowed me to, but since they do not, it makes for long days. Plus my boys have issues and special needs.

I have gotten used to it now, I can say the year I did not sleep I went nuts. I was a wreck. I actually went to the doc and said if they did not drug him, they could keep him. That is the first time we got meds and help. Good thing as they delivered his brother the next day...LOL! The meds allowed him to sleep 4 hours per night and my mom to watch him while we were in the hospital.

Kenzie doesn't sleep either. She is 22 months also. She still wake in the night at least once and then we cosleep the rest the night. Her sister slept ok most of the time but now she is having a hard time at 12.

Kenzie has fought her sleep since she was about 4m old. She would throw the big it's fits and so we coslept until she was 9m then we in ally got her in her crib then she had a sedated MRI and had not slept in her crib until she was 13m then we got her back in her room for 5m and at 18m she stopped again. She is just now starting to sleep in her room.

It gets better but it's hard. We have found Kenzie sleeps best in the dark with no noise and a cooler room. And she has to be in bed at 7:30pm no matter what. Any variance from her schedule and its not pretty. She also wakes to go pee and started doing that at 18m. She is now fully potty trained at 22m.
