What's UGI?

I'm finally learning what a proper portion is. Tonight I cooked chicken thighs in olive oil and garlic. I figured 4 oz each portion, came out to 216 calories each. I went to make my dinner, and 4 oz seemed so little. Gaurenteed I would have eaten 2 before. But I stuck to one and added 2 cups of salad with homemade dressing. Guess what? I'm not hungry. I'm not super full, but I don't feel the need to eat more. What a revelation. Now, to figure out this feeling when pizza is in front of me

Portion control is a big deal! It can make or break a good plan. Once you learn what a portion is its easier to stay on track. For a pizza the portions all differ. If you go to a place like Chucky Cheese you should be ok. Places like domino's and Pizza Hut have average pizza slices but some an be on the large size. Little pizzeria places have huge slices that are in fact 2 portions.

Do your research before you go. Go to their website and see what a portion is and how many calories it is. Know before you go.

I should have had better portion control last night. I ate a whole box minus a tiny bit of noodles. I am up a pound today to 145.1.

Yeah I pigged out on spaghetti and in up .8 lbs. gotta wash it out today for sure

Weight loss stall. Blech. I was kind of expecting it, but it still sucks. I really need to get an elliptical or treadmill for Christmas!! On a good note, it's only 10, and I am 60oz of water in!!

Great job with the water. Try mixing up your routine. Workout different times of the day have a good cheat day or a rest week.
