Anyone take Pristiq while nursing?

I took it before I was pregnant. It made me weird. I couldn't see normally (blurry, things moving, etc.) it gave me nearly every side effect without actually working. I didn't sleep, my memory just failed, and so much more.

I wish I had some nursing advice. I am sure your doctor can give you good advice. Every time I hear that pill name I cringe.

i take it and bf. ive taken it for about 2 years now i guess. it changed my life in a good way. no adverse effects on pregnancy or with nursing for me.

Can I ask how much you take, and how old your hold is? I took it before pregnant and did much better on it than Zoloft. Just a little nervous about taking it now, and so is my dr, since there aren't many studies on pregnant/nursing moms taking it. If you don't feel like posting the info, can you pm me? I have been on it since my DS was about 3 months- he is about 15months now and still nursing. No adverse effects. I take 10mg.

it comes in the 50 or the 100 pill. i got bumped up to 100 pretty late in my pregnancy. my baby is 2.5 months old and a happy healthy boy. i think its pretty important to be well for your child. having a happy healthy mom is just as important as anything else.

Thanks for the info. I also agree happy mom is key, but I am managing on Zoloft. I see my dr soon, so we'll see what she says.
