My son's name is Josiah James - it flows off the tongue nicely and I love its biblical roots. No one ever calls him JJ, and in fact hardly anyone calls him Jo. If we don't call him by his full name it's usually something like "Silly 'Siah." Anyhoo... I think Aaron James (or even Aaron Josiah) sounds really good, if you don't mind the J thing.
