So I googled this and now I'm really intrigued. I don't really understand how it can have all the benefits it claims, but maybe it'd be great if it helped my teeth. They are sensitive and so prone to cavities. I might be brave and try it tonight.

Re: oil pulling

I was reading about this a few weeks ago when I had a broken infected tooth...it seems amazing and I would love to hear if someone has tried it and stuck with it! I read about a few people who had some strange side effects when they used the coconut oil. I really want to try it with a quality coconut oil!

I'm curious what the quality of coconut oil has to do with it?

Re: oil pulling

has anyone tried this with coconut oil?

that would be the ONLY oil I could use. I'd have to heat it up first cause it's a solid right now with it being so cold. and I just imagine my teeth being all gunky

There is some stuff online about it. What I saw was people who use coconut oil kind of chew it a little because once it gets to body temp you can swish.

Supposedly the less processed the more toxins it can pull out. At least that's what I'm understanding.

Re: oil pulling

very interesting.. I googled it and it sounds interesting.

especially the part about coconut oil being very similar to breastmilk in it's lauric acid contents.. which.. I don't know why we care about, but I could google that too :P

I tried it with louanna I think any other kind would be better than it. And it had to be warmed to a liquid before I could stand it. I tried solid once and let it warm up in my mouth. never again lol

Lol I'm going to order some organic cold pressed from amazon in a few days I think. I did this again last night and am about to do it for this morning. I swear my teeth feel so clean. Even after waking up I dont have that gross film/fuzz in my mouth.
