I had a positive opk test a little earlier than I expected. The same day I also had some pretty bad pain on the left side. I have never felt ovulation to my knowledge, but it did feel like a cyst. I get them every few months and was curious as the whether this could have an effect on opk testing. I have never been diagnosed with PCOS, I just get one cyst on one or the other ovary every few months.

Yes some cysts can give false pos OPKs.
