I ended up in the er last night after I had an ultrasound on Tuesday that showed this pregnancy was probably ectopic. My hcg last night was only three. This pregnancy was so bizarre from the get go the ob didn't know what to think. Her best guess was that I had an ectopic that just didn't develop properly because of the abnormal implantation and that my body resorbed it. So at least I don't need surgery or methotrexate. Her feeling was that I've just had bad luck lately (I had a nine week loss in August), especially because I've had two prior uneventful pregnancies not long ago. She recommended waiting a few months before trying again, and I think after two losses in a row I need to do that to clear my mind. I'm still totally confident we will have another healthy baby, I just never thought it would be so hard this time. Happy and healthy nine months to you all!

I'm sorry! I agree though that having your body naturally absorb is a good thing, so you don't have to worry about meds. Lots of healing your way!
