What size/shape play table?
We are making a new top for our kids' play table. I am thinking round so they can all play around it together, maybe 36-42". Any opinions or ideas? We have a huge space to put it in, so no size limitations (within reason
). Thanks! |

Re: What size/shape play table?
this is the train table/play table my dad built for the boys. It is about 4ft square and had the little lip on it. I love the lip since nothing rolls off. They play with everything on this table. We have folding chairs that they can pull up to the side if they want to sit. We made it taller so they can stand and it can grow with them.

So would you suggest closer to four feet?
Any opinions on shape? |

Re: What size/shape play table?
It's mice to have some definition of whose space is whose. I do at least oval so there are sides but square works great for us. My boys get along pretty well but when sharing is involved it gets interesting
