How to treat a yeast infection?

Title says it all I'm 99% sure I have one and don't want to use the OTC stuff. I have some plain yogurt with live cultures and inserted some Will it work or should I just get some sort of OTC? If I have to buy something, I prefer that it be as natural as possible.

I think I have one as well... I've been craving sweets and we have thrush... I also think mine is below. So I'd like to see other remedies .

I had horrible yeast issues when I was pregnant with ds2

I had luck with garlic and bio-k.
I did find the garlic burned a bit at first.

How did you put it in? I read that you peel it, wrap it in gauze, then tie it with a string.

I tried that...my OB thought I was crazy...said I wasn't the first however, becasue women had come in because it got stuck!! I just ate garlic and stopped eating sweets, processed carbs, most fruits for a few days. And took probiotics too (because I can't have dairy). GL!

I never used gause just peeled it and stuck it in.
I suppose you could tie some dental floss to it for easier removal.

Garlic works wonders! I just peeled it and inserted it, no issues removing it. You could put it in cheese cloth if you are worried. Probiotics and cutting sugar helps a lot.

Good luck! I never had much luck with the natural treatments. The one and only yeast infection I had in the last 10 years went from mild to severe in a matter of hours. I just opted for the OTC stuff because it was horribly painful and not to mention itchy and very swollen. Maybe if I get another one and can catch it early enough, I will try the garlic!
