Re: NTNP November 4th - November 10th

Happy Monday morning ladies! Hope you are all off to a great start to your week.

My youngest DD is having the toughest time with daylight savings...she was up at 5:00 this morning... The upside to that is that it is 7:30 now and I have two loads of laundry done already lol

We are going out to get some groceries and visiting my mom and dad today...anyone else have plans for the day?

Morning!

We had an eventful night. Some how DD puked quietly and all over herself and bed. I didn't find it until 4am. I went to check on her because she was coughing and I walked into a wall of puke smell. Poor kid. Her hair still stinks.

She seems okay this morning, no fever or anything. Just a little more clingy. We've been relaxing on the couch watching MMC and Kipper.

Hopefully she got it out of her system. It's times like these that make me slightly happy that she is still an only. I get to devote all my time to her.

Staying at home is my dream job didn't think I'd ever get to do it but we made it happen straight out of college.

I think someday I'd like to teach science. We plan to homeschool so hopefully I'll get that too.

I've been so emotional this week. Now that I've had my ppaf I should start charting again but a big part of me doesn't want to because when I'm charting I'm very tempted to ttc and not just let whatever happens happen, kwim? We're open to a pregnancy happening right now but actively ttc needs to wait. Do I sound crazy?

You're not crazy at all. DH feels the same way and I actually do too. It's just hard to not want to go all out. I actually stopped temping so that I wouldn't get caught up in it.

Re: NTNP November 4th - November 10th

Cruddy day here, I'm mad at DH cause he's at the midnight launch for Halo 4 and isn't planning on coming home til he beats the game sometime tomorrow. I was going to pick up a test while we were out today but forgot, I've been having a lot of the same symptoms as when I was first pg with Jack.

Re: NTNP November 4th - November 10th

Been out shopping with all my boys today and had the police called on me b/c I was sitting in the back of my van nursing my baby and a lady only saw my older two and not me and panicked and called the police and then after she saw me in the van, she stuck to her story and didn't tell the police that SHE had made a mistake and ran. The police saw me, my nursing cover and my 5 month old and believed me over a lady with a picture of her phone reflection in my window. I was beyond irritated that she was willing to lie to the police to keep herself out of trouble. I'm sure that the police have better things to do then to harass nursing mothers in Once Upon A Child's parking lot. This is the 2nd time I've had someone over react when I'm IN my van. The other time I jumped out in the ladies face and scared the pants of her. lol! My windows are NOT that dark at all. They are very easy to see through if you try. Other then that the most exicting thing here is my new iron. lol!

Re: NTNP November 4th - November 10th

Dream job....
I'd really love to own a craft store. (But not just a craft store). My "dream" would be a place where people could knit, sew, take classes, and shop. A place with an awesome vintage fabric section. A place with sewing machines, spinning wheels, embroidery machines, etc that could be rented by the hour. (Off course with HUGE glass windows so Moms could see into the playroom where there is a drop in "daycare".) And I would get to travel once a month on buying trips to different places to buy vintage fabric. I told DH that is what I'd do if I won the lottery. He laughs because we don't actually play the lottery.
(I'm currently a SAHM. I'd settle for a part-time job at Joanns or Hancocks when the kids are old enough and in school... if I got a discount. )

MrsAsh... I go through irons too. I love a new iron. I'm on my 3rd one this year! (lol)

It's been a less-than-ideal day here too. AF showed early so I'm officially out. And I have had an awful yeast infection for the past week that I don't think will ever go away. I used an OTC kit last week and the infection remains. I called my OB/Gyn today to try to get an rx and the nurse didn't call me back until 5. She left a message saying that their office doesn't deal with this sort if thing and that I need to call my primary care physician. I'm sure my PCP. Will be thrilled as he doesn't do pelvics/women's care. And I'm still miserable with no relief :banghrad:
