Calling all mamas who have electric griddles!
What brand do you have? Do you love it or hate it? Would you recommend it?
I just used my brand new griddle this morning and brought it right back to the store. I put the pancakes on it and the first batch burned and then the heating element broke! It went from like 500 degrees to 0. LOL! So after many words I cant say here I laughed about it and need recommendations for a new one! Thanks ![]() Amanda . Blaming my phone for typos and crap.

We have a Presto foldaway griddle. It makes great pancakes.

Re: Calling all mamas who have electric griddles!
We got whatever was the cheapest one at the time at Target. I have no idea what it is but it's held up for 5 yrs now. I don't use it a ton but 3-4 times a month. Works great for pancakes and grilled cheese.

We have a Presto also. It was less than $20 at Walmart and I bought it on a whim. One of the best investments ever.

I have the presto tilt'n drain big griddle. It's HUGE which for me works well but may not appeal to everyone. It heats very evenly, I haven't had any hot spots on it. I ordered it from Amazon and it was around $35 I think. I like to make tons of pancakes on the weekend to reheat for breakfast for the kids throughout the week. I can easily make 9 at a time.
