It really depends. Polar fleece can be great, as can other polyester fleeces, for the wicking or waterproof layers. You still need an absorbent layer like cotton though.

I was actually hoping to attempt some hybrid fitteds, so I would definitely still use another fabric. I'm cutting up some flannel blankets, and hoping to snatch some of this fabric up!
