Re: Mamas With Large Stashes...
I have a huge stash, 100+.
I've always had wayyy too many CDs. DD is no longer in them. I've sold off some, but I still have over 100 that I am holding onto JIK.

Re: Mamas With Large Stashes...
I'm in the hoarder range a couple hundred at least diapers I have never counted but 300 maybe. My diapers alone take up two 50 gallon storage bins these are the gigantic blue ones you can get at wal-mart. Plus they don't all fit and that doesn't include wool. I am trying to destash but I buy as fast as I sell or maybe faster. I probably have another blue bin worth of wool.
I have an issue |

Re: Mamas With Large Stashes...
In my first few years of CDing, I was the same way. It was so much fun to have new fluff come in the mail, and even though I did have 3 in diapers, the diaper shelf was ridiculous. Now? I am happy with a nice simple stash of prefolds...but the yarn stash is a whole other issue

Re: Mamas With Large Stashes...
I have way more than one 17 month old will really ever need.
13 dozen flats(I am wanting to try bamboo flats) 3 lonely contour diapers 7 maybe 8 dozen gerber flats(I don't count these as diapers though because I use them as doublers in other diapers) 7 dozen prefolds(again I am wanting to try bamboo prefolds. I would also like 18 more GMD red edge and 10 more GMD brown edge) 31 fitteds(I have 2 more I am repairing and 6 more cut out. If I find a few more cute ones and have the money I am not adverse to increasing these.) 9 upcycled longies(plus 12 wool sweaters to make more. One is already partially cut out.) 9 wool soakers 6 knit longies(plus yarn for 9 more) 11 knit shorties(plus yarn for 1 maybe 2 more) All those are in rotation except I have put away the shorties due to cold weather finally arriving. I also have 3 dozen infant prefolds out on loan. Plus I think about 6 wool soakers. That is all I had/have for my nb stash. We are trying for baby number 4. After our car is paid out I may start collecting some more nb diapers. Maybe not though as we have a hard time getting pregnant to begin with. 3 children in 14 years. ![]() So including my nb prefolds we have 314 diapers. Subtract 36 for those we currently have in rotation. Again I didn't count my gerber flats.

Re: Mamas With Large Stashes...
I have tons and tons, but many are out of rotation (too small, super girly prints, etc) but even at this point I'd say 1/2 my DS' stash is passed down from his sister. I haven't counted, but I'm sure I have around 200, not counting plain prefolds.

If I do decide to get them I am thinking of getting 3 dozen GMD preemie, 3 dozen GMD orange, 3 dozen GMD yellow, 3 dozen preemie fitteds, and 3 dozen small fitteds. I am expecting if we do have another it will arrive in the 5-6lb range as dr said she would want to deliver 3 weeks early. So including my nb prefolds we have 314 diapers. Subtract 36 for those we currently have in rotation. Again I didn't count my gerber flats. I do count my other flats and prefolds as my son is in those 90% of the time. The last 5 days he has only been in 2 of the fitted diapers. Since my son averages 8 diapers a day we can go 31 days without repeating a diaper. Each of his diapers can expect to be worn about 12 times a year.

Re: Mamas With Large Stashes...
We used to have an amazingly huge stash too! At least a dozen Elbees in each size from NB-ML, and two dozen RSD AIO's in each size. We sold off all our Elbees---
--- because Asher refuses to wear wool except his night time cover. ![]() Current rotation: 18 RSD AIO's I pray if we are blessed with another babe, I can hunt down our Elbees. Those and RSD's makes up our perfect stash.

This totally WOULD be me, but my DH watches me like a hawk and has cracked down on the diaper buying bc we're in a tight financial season and dd is pretty close to potty trained.
I only have: 3 Capri sz 2 covers 3 flip covers 6 large gmd flats 18 Gerber training panties (which we use w/o pants around the house for PL) 3 blueberry trainers - for car rides and outside 4 BG 4.0s for night If I had my way, I'd have; 24 flats 36 training panties 21 blueberry trainers (we use them for trips and outdoor play) 6 Capri covers 6 flip covers 12 simplex OS |
