no interest

DS is 2.5 but has no interest in pting. I recently heard that if they are ready they should be able to take their own clothes off. He can't. Does this mean I should wait? WWYD?

Wait. You'll just drive yourself crazy if he's not ready.

If he has no interest then dont bother. You'll only succeed in creating a power struggle.

Swagbucks. Search. Earn. Redeem. Yep, it's that simple (I've earned $70 in gift cards and counting!).

You could just start talking about the potty, taking him to the bathroom and having him sit on the potty at the same time you go to show him what to do, etc. Just ease it into your daily routine.

Wait! Wait until he is fully ready, on his own, and wants to potty-train. I'm still fighting this battle with my 3 1/2 year-old. You'll save yourself a lot of frustration and stress if you wait.

Good luck!

This. My son just wasn't ready until right at 3. I didn't push it (like my family was encouraging me to do) and he PL in 2 days with no accidents, even at night. It is so worth waiting until they are ready.
