If I can work two more weeks in the same conditions why not just stay? The next few weeks when everything's still going on seems to me to be the most dangerous time if someone wanted to do something else to me. Yk?

yes shannon I'm making 24 (2 sets of 12) but only sending in 20 (2 sets of 10...since I'm 2 of the 12 spots). I'm making the ones for myself also so I can have a total of 24 for the advent garland

Do you think you are being targeted?

I don't think a random person comes to a nursing home in the middle of the day and keys a car for fun, so yes, I think it's related.

Gosh scary. Did you report it? Do you feel unsafe AT work or when leaving work?

If there is no way they will give you some security, you may need to figure something out yourself. Would you still be in an OK position if you walked out of your job today?? A lot of things to consider but I would definitely start looking.

Today is a day I am glad I'm not in a "real" school. I can take as many bathroom breaks as I need, I can eat what I want when I feel like it, and I didn't have to use a sick day even though there is no way I would have been able to stand in front of a class all day. I was out of energy just walking Butch into daycare. He's of course doing fine today and was actually happy to be going into daycare. DH is still sleeping it off, #1 missed school today so he'll have to get himself caught up later, but otherwise I think we are all on the mend now.

Re: VETERANS DAY! KAL 11/11-11/17 Knit to a goal!

Oh, and I finally reached Sunday's goal of finishing 1 leg on Butch's B-day Party longies. Hoping to get the 2nd one done today since I don't have a 1 legged kid. I had to do 3 1/2 inches and couldn't knit anything yesterday. Stupid flu. Another bonus (I didn't want to post this before and jinx it) but the MacLir is cooperating and not pooling terribly.
