I was thinking maybe a new surfboard rack for his car but the jerk in me is actually kinda trying to discourage surfing because when he does a whole lot of it he talks enthusiastically about teaching my DS and I am just not okay with that, he is only 13 months, don't freak me out!

I am always so amazed when they decide on something and run with it, even if it makes little sense. I had re-occuring MRSA, and one doctor said "This is common in hospitals, jails, and gyms. Have you recently been in jail?" And I was so floored by that, because why would jail be at the top of the possible-where-I-have-been list over a gym or a hospital? Had to find a new doctor after that one, too, it was just so odd, he kept talking about jail.

My DH's birthday is in two weeks, I have no idea what to get him. He buys what he wants for himself. It's so frustrating. I usually buy him a really nice bottle of scotch because I know he likes that, but I don't think I can do that again, even I am tired of it. Any suggestions? He is a total enigma, he is a surfing, yoga doing and once instructing, software engineering, college football playing and now football loving weirdo
I think sometimes they get entertainment out of running with a worst-case scenario. Zero gift suggestions though, unless maybe a prepaid yoga class session or something? Something for his fave football team? Sorry, nada.

Get him this pen and tell him it is the only one he can use!!! I've now lost count of how many time's it has gone through the laundry. Helps if I link it http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS.../chrisficti-20 He bought it for himself after about the 4th time I got mad at him about pens in his pocket. Also, DS has fun pulling DH's name badge holders so maybe replacements of those.

Re: VETERANS DAY! KAL 11/11-11/17 Knit to a goal!

I just ate a snack, so I have a very wiggly baby in my belly right now I some how misplaces the trim for my longies, so the cuff will have to wait, I suppose. I guess I should start thinking about what my next project will be.
